How to get here

By car: once reached Sardinia through one of the main harbors (Porto Torres, Olbia or Golfo Aranci), using one of ferry companies available

Take the SS 131 Carlo Felice in the direction of Cagliari until the exit of Monastir. Take the direction for Iglesias. Take then the SS 130 continuing always in the direction of Iglesias. Near Iglesias follow the signs to Carbonia. After passing the junction to Gonnesa, take the road towards PortoVesme / Portoscuso which will be on your right. This will bring you to the place where you will board on the ferry to Carloforte: in fact after passing the traffic light near the village of Portoscuso, you will get to the maritime station (building on the right) where you can buy the ticket to reach St. Peter Island.

You can also embark on a ferry in direction of St. Peter Island from the port of Calasetta, on the St. Antioco isthmus. To reach it, after the junction of Gonnesa, keep going in direction of Carbonia, then follow Sant'Antioco and finally Calasetta. It is a more scenic drive but also more long and complicated. Ferries also are not so frequent from Calasetta.
